Advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) have functions including frontal collision detection and lane deviation warnings. In order to prevent accidents, ADAS features rely on cameras and sensors positioned on the windshield.
All of the ADAS systems, including cameras and sensors, must be disconnected and then reattached when a windshield is replaced. Calibration is necessary following installation.
